On the west side they spotted a sleeping seal at the zen area. There was RM31 Kai. They were happy to see him and happy to find a seal.

Then they saw whales! There was a very small calf with a mom doing tail slaps, roll overs, spouts. The calf's tail was so white.

They met a really nice couple and got into a conversation about the whale count. Team R&B explained they were sight leaders for 20 years. Then the couple recognized their name and were thrilled to meet them after many years. 

It took them awhile, as they were searching for their boy N45. They persisted and it paid off. They spotted the little seal moving and it was N45 Na'au. He was a little more active, moving about around the driftwood hitting him at times. They were thrilled to see him and he was not being bothered by anyone. Team R&B stayed for quite a while. Then of course just as they were ready to leave a couple came by. They asked if the seal was dead, Team R&B explained he was just resting. Then they went for a walk right in front of him and when they came back they walked in front of him again.  

They headed out to another site and found a seal in the pond. It's hind flippers were out on the rocks, but they couldn't see much. They did note a cc scar in back and another on the shoulder. The seal never moved so they weren't able to get an ID. It was reported as an Unknown Adult.

Then they found RG32 in the seal inlet. He was alone looking big with a clean coat and no tags.

They had a call of a seal at plains. When they finally were able to make it out there they found two seals in one zone. It was a big female RL12 Aukai with her companion Mr. Kawika R407. They were the last two seals of the day.
