March 18, 2026 Wednesday's Dailies

Today's dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 11:56 t0 1:36 pm and there were two seals seen during that time.
Between Middle Cliff and the 3BS was a Sub-adult Male: sub-adult size, older coat, yellowish brown male belly and two red tags. He is probably the same male she saw on Monday.
Up from the SRI channel was a Juvenile Female: juvenile size light yellow female belly and two red tags. She is probably the same seal that was in that spot on Monday.
The island has gotten green with all the rain we been getting, and more to come.

Team R&B spent quite awhile searching this morning without finding any seals. Then finally they spotted a male on shore on the west side. It was RU40 Wai and he was alone. They were hoping it was N45.
With all the driftwood on the shorelines its hard to see if there are seals on the beaches.

Team R&B decided to check out plains and were happy to see fat mama to be KG89 Huakai. She was not alone today, R407 was keeping her company. Funny he looks so small compared to her.
Thankfully the lifeguards went above and beyond and set up a zone for them.

They headed back to the west side and this time they found RH76 Kala. She was not there earlier.
She is now at her zen area getting hit by the big waves washing over the area. At times she rolled over, gained some momentum and bears down.  When the sets came through she just stayed in one spot, then moved to her usual spot to sleep.  Hopefully she'll be heading to Rabbit Island to safely give birth.
