Their first stop they spotted dolphins and watched them for a bit.  Then they saw a seal from a far, so they headed over to the area. When they finally got there they found R407 Kawika.  He was alone and resting peacefully.

They checked several beaches coming up empty. They headed over to plains and with no seals in sight they asked the lifeguards to call if any arrived.  

They had left plains and arrived at another location when they scanned the coast line and see from afar as

seal had hauled out at plains.  

So they drove back to check it out and there on shore was RL12 Aukai. She was in the exact spot where they had been, silly seal!  She is looking healthy and fat. The lifeguards had put up signs and ropes to keep folks away.  

Lastly they found five stilts hanging out together in a pond.
