Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:40 to 2:05 and there was only one lone seal during her viewing session.
Initially on LPB, the Juvenile Female entered the water just after Marilyn started viewing. Six minutes later is hauled out near the 3BS. Juvenile to subadult size, old coat with lots of green, green female belly and two red tags.
Marilyn also noted the Masked Booby fledgling on top of the crater was in a good position to be seen today.
Team R&B tried doing some other sites for seals and found nothing. But then it was magic on their laststop at another location. There were three seals they were able to ID.
One was Kala RH76 at the water front rocks with R3CX Nalu, who they hadn't seen in some time.
The icing on the cake was finding R416 who was in the little pond alone. They noticed something on the left corner of his mouth. It might just be rubbish, or a small sore but worth noting.
