04/14/2021 Wednesday Monk Seal Dailies

Today's dailies are brought to you by Team R&B💕.

It's very rare when Team R&B spend the day looking and only find two critters.  Despite endless looking and coming up empty they FINALLY found their favorite boy Da Benny. He was in the company of a guy who had seen him haul up while fishing.  Team R&B chatted with them and informed them it was Benny, which they thought was curious since the seal didn't have tags. Team R&B that after 14 years they know this critter very well.

Team R&B went back to areas for a second look and they found another seal at a west side location. They spotted a seal scurrying on the seal inlet area. They were happy to find their girl RH48 Lei Ola starting to settle down for a nice warm nap in the sun. Her tags were visible but getting really worn and hard to read. She is looking nice and plump, she was trying to find a comfortable position.  They noted and I agree she has the prettiest eyes like she has eye liner.  (I was thinking the same thing from yesterdays' photos.)
