This morning Team T&D (Tammy & Dave) and I went out on a sea debris mission to retrieve some nets reported by fishermen.
On our way to the point we had a crop of 7 seals
First one was RW02 PVKauai at Hidden Beach in the same spot I last saw him yesterday
In the NARS we found R303 BG in her pool, R3CU in the pools past Nihoa's Pool
On the Runway R330 Squinty was on a reef and RN58 Luana was in a tide pool beside him
Further down on the Flats RL74 Kami was on some reefs sleeping peacefully
Last but not least RO40 Ka'ena was making his way down to the water line - he had definitely overnighted.
That delayed our mission but we got it done and decided to hike the Waianae side - we found some interesting sea debris and debris along the way. Alas NO seals on that side while we were there. More tomorrow
