Went straight to KPt this morning, met team Tammy & Dave at the same time that RO40 "Ka'ena" was hauling on to the reef island of Main Pool.
We stayed around for a while waiting for other seal(s) to show up but it was in vain. We did a little outreach, we were expecting to have more people hiking out because the start of the Summer vacation but it didn't happen.
We headed back and stopped to check the play pens.
RL42 "Leia" & PO5 "Napua" D34 were freshly hauled out on the waterline. Little girl is looking like a cigar.
On their beach RN58 "Luana" & PO4 "Puna" were sleeping just bellow a sand step near the waterline barely visible. He is getting lighter and lighter.
Yesterday I checked on them before heading to town. I added 2 photos of "Puna" showing his white belly.
