Went out mid-morning to check CE Pt and Birth Beach. BB had a wallow and trail up and down the beach. A seal over knighted – wonder if it was RN58 “Luana” scouting the grounds. Unfortunately, over the weekend someone cut big branches from a tree to make fire wood (argh… with green wood ?!?!?!) some of the leaf branches were put down around the wallow and there were foot prints of a small dog all along the trail.
Later, I met with one of the DOCARE officers and let him know
From BB I drove out to the point. The only seal I found was R353 (F) hauled out on BG’s little beach.
I’ll go out to BB this evening to check if seal hauls out again
