Jaime went one way and I the other today for our monitoring and outreach.
I arrived at the point and found RO40 "Ka'ena" (with a mark on his left side that for a while made me think it was RW22 "Kolohe") IDed by scars and NBs hauled out on the reef island in the Main Pool. Beside him was R330 "Squinty".
Although I checked many nooks and crevices I didn't see another seal.
I had to deal with a homeless issue so my time out at the point was shortened - be was able to get some good outreach out there as well as on my hike back out.
"CHICKY" has been recorded nearly every day this past week, I was out 6 days out of 8!
