6/13/2017 DB's Dailies: Sadie&Aka& Kawena @ Rabbit Island, DB, Benny@Maili Beach Park & Ka'ale@Maili, Team Billand,

I did a early morning Rabbit Island check at Makai Pier from 0730 - 0830. I could see Sadie (RB12)&Aka(D#40) just entering into the water at the west end of the beach for a mornng swim session. They were the only animals noted.

 I got back again to Makai Pier at 1150. Mom & Pop were both doing a feed. They would do another swim session from 1202 til 1308, where the hauled out to the same west end location for feedin’ & snoozin’.

 On a pan at 1150 I found a small animal, partially visible with lots of algae green. It would prove to be Kawena (RH360 in Seal Rock Inlet. She would haul out to the beach.

 At 0826 Team Billand reported Benny (RE74) at Maili Beach Park.

 At 0926 they reported Ka’ale (RH32) at Maili.
