Got a call about a seal down on Camp Erdman side of the house, went down and found RW02 “PVKauai” going thru a very conservative molt (15-20%). Due to trails on mauka side of Naupakas he must have been there all day yesterday or more. I didn’t go down that way yesterday morning because the waves were rolling all the way up the beach and he had been seen on Hidden Beach over the weekend… my bad.
As I reported RW02 I was told about a seal @ Birth Beach. I confirmed RK36 “Kauai Kolohe” as soon as I got there. His molt is a good 50%.
