HMMA Update from August 20th

The morning began at 0706 with a report of Pohaku (RO28) at Paradise Cove. Barbara has ID'ed the seal by tag. NOAA was notified and sent out a team to vaccinate. Vaccination was successful! At 0728 Don checked in with a report of Honey Girl (R5AY) in Hauula. Don ID'ed the seal by tag 5AZ. Jason checked in at 0758 with a report of PO5 at Turtle Bay. At 1011 Marilyn checked in from Alan Davis with a repot of Kawena (RH36) swimming and foraging. At 1104 a report came in about a seal hauled out at Waikiki Beach. Colleen responded but when she arrived the seal had departed. ID is unknown.
