HMMA Update from July 8th
The day began at 0912 with a report of 2 seals at Kuilima Cove at Turtle Bay Resort. Karen T. responded and ID'ed Holokai (RG40) and Ipo (RI37). At 1030 North Sector Manager Don checked in via email with a report of RK36 just east of the Mokuleia pup site. At 1213 a report came in about a seal at Cromwell Beach. Colleen responded and found Rocky (RH58). At 1430 Don checked back in via email with a report of RW02 joining RK36 in Mokuleia. Both RK36 and RW02 tried to join Nihoa (R912) and pup in their SPZ but mom chased them away.
