We checked on him several times during the day. We put a "Shhh I'm sleeping" sign and people were very respectful.
Just after sunset we went down again to do some outreach with a group arriving and setting up for a night BBQ. As we were talking RW02 "Kauai PV" made his way to the water and left. My mini assistant baby Kana'i had a blast to actually see the seal moving down the beach and into the water.
