7-26-2014 Lesley's Ka'ena Point Trek

Marilyn & I did the Ka'ena Pt monitoring hike today. It was a hot and pleasant one
We started out checking Birth Beach but again there were no signs of RN58 "Luana" 
 
The tide was extremely low and debris from last weekends storm was covering the shore lines
Are 2 finds were RO40 "Ka'ena" hauled out at the very end of the Runway and RW02 "Kauai" in the center of the Main Pool at the point.
The albatross have nearly all left, we only saw 2 in the distance   Aloha, Lesley
