I received an email last night from Diane T. who very graciously acknowledge Melanie for all her hard work and efforts. Apparently Melanie spends time on the east side looking out for seals.... and while she's out there she spends much of her time cleaning up debris (which I know many many of you do). Yesterday Diane and Melanie headed over to North Beach on the base to search for Irma with no luck, but Melanie did mange to haul out this huge ball of netting.
Thank you Melanie and thank you Diane for sending in the Kudos....
I can only hope there are more people out there like you two.... !
