This link refers to the loss of a baby humpback whale this evening. For the volunteers that responded to the call I applaud you for your efforts and I am sure it was a difficult response effort.
This is unfortunately one of times when mother nature makes the decision, and the best we can do is try to make it a little less stressful on the animal.
