A quick thank you

Aloha good people

 I just want to say thank you to Karen Turner for another wonderful Hawaiian monk seal season. Karen will be heading back to the mainland soon, and I know we will miss her dedication and continuous monitoring of all activity up at Turtle Bay.

 I am sure Karen will agree this year goes down in the monk seal mania history books in that she and Diga witnessed the birth of R5AYs pup RL54. I am happy that these two very dedicated volunteers got to experience something so special.  

 So dear Karen, have a safe trip back to reality and until next year... we'll keep you posted on what's happening through the blog.  ~da blog lady~
