Here are some photos of RI37 from Monday 6/11while she hauled out at La'akea. Photos were sent into Dana Jones, HMSRTO response coordinator.... I believe Debi Kelly and another volunteer are responsible for submitting the photos.... THANK YOU! I know NOAA would love to know what's going on with this young female..... She looks like a healthy weight, but again unclear what went on with her pregnancy this spring.
I have had the honor of being in the company of this lovely lady..I37, many times. It is so heart breaking, she has lost all of her pups. Too bad, so tragic.
ReplyDeleteAfter she had her huge injury couple of years ago, she rarely came out west side again. Wish some how, this poor female will one day, hold and give birth normally. Prayers to her and her future pups...B
