Aloha good people!
Today was one of those special days when you have two groups that have different missions come together and accomplish one goal... WHY? because its all connected. B.E.A.C.H. (Beach Environmental Awareness Campaign Hawai'i) is a group that knows how to organize and train a group for beach cleanup. After several of HMSRTO volunteers saw all the trash washing up near Ua Malie's favorite haul outs, Dana Jones, HMSRTO volunteer coordinator got the ball rolling and got in touch with B.E.A.C.H. organization ... low and behold today was a hardworking day for many volunteers. Here are some of the photos submitted to me by Liz Weske. GREAT JOB PEOPLE!!!
