    As I watched Kermit passing Makaiwi this morning, I wanted him to react to her, but, he just kept going his merry way, as if he had a mission...Haul Up to a safe spot. And he never looked up at Makaiwi as he passed . So much for lovers..but it was still cool to observe. She remained in the spot all day...moving to the bunkers later with the rising tide.
