DB Post Saturday 7/4/2009

A Happy 4th to all ! The Rabbit Island cast was much as yesterday. M&M and pup were once again at 3BS, I observed 3 feeds and 3 swims.

Duke was 60 ft or so to their right, all day. He was doing alot of galumphing in the shallows in that area, and would haul out for a snooze break every hour or so. I presume he was hunting small prey in the shallows.

Sadie would haul out to the left end rock flats and remain there by herself all day.

Team Billand called at 0815 to advise that RIP and Ewa Girl had apparently overnighted at Palm Grove, Campbell Industrial Park. They called again at 1520 to say that the duo had departed.
