DB Post monday 6/8/2009

It was yet another rough, windy and therefore quiet day at Rabbit Island. Ewa Girl and Pup (D#32) did their usual 3 swim, 3 feed routine, and they were joined for a part of the day by Sadie who entered the water at 1103. I did not see her again today.

Team Billand were back on the job today, and called at 0959 to report Irma at the Wind Sock, Kalaeloa Beach. Barbara and her male pup undertook a Ka'ena Point trek in the afternoon, and called at 1607 to report Kerby (RW08) , and then at 1627 called again to report the arrival of Benny (RE74) and Ka'ena (RO40), plus another animal. Barbara's 1641 call confirmed the last animal as Yoda (R302). Ka'ena info has become hard to come by of late, so getting info on the KP gang was especially great.
