Irma at Sandy Beach

Here are some great photos of Irma at Sandys on Friday taken by a photographer I met last year on Lanikai beach. Liz took some fantastic shots of Chester crawling over a log and was kind enough to share them with me. Liz comes to Hawaii during the winter months and she seems to have the knack to find monk seals... I was thrilled to hear from her and to see these GREAT shots of Irma.... I believe she also had the pleasure of meeting DB.

I have to honestly say how wonderful this experience has been that a year later I hear back from someone I spoke to briefly on the beach sharing a love and fascination with these beautiful creatures. Oh by the way Happy Valentine Day! ~donna~
