Aloha Everyone,
On Wednesday, 5AY hauled up in the early morning for a long nap on Laniakea Beach. It started to rain and I was just about to leave around 2pm, the Honu Guardians had a handle on things. All of a sudden we got a treat and the turtles decided to come out of the sea and bask. They hadn't come out all day but within a few minutes three turtles hauled out right in front of 5AY. She glanced their direction a few times and then she was out of there. She didn't seem too disturbed so maybe it was just time to head out for more food. She took her time leaving and then explored the rock area off the beach. I got the attached shot and was so glad that I hadn't left!
