5-7-2012 LOOK here!

 I heard a rumor last week and was able to confirm this afternoon it's true. Our very own Dera Look was named employee of the year as part of NOAA/NMFS/PIRO.... she is going to DC later this month to accept the award.  


I know she doesn't like a lot of attention, but I wanted to share the news with everyone, because in my opinion she deserves it.  Not only is she a huge asset to the PIRO office, she is a great person to work with. I know many of the volunteers who have dealt with her always have nothing but the nicest things to say. I am glad she decided to join the PIRO office and works so closely with HMSRTO and volunteers. 
CONGRATULATIONS DERA!  YOU DESERVE IT!

    Wow, congratulations Dera Look. We all appreciate your work, your patience with the many phone calls, the hours spent trying to find solutions to the dogs at Plains, to fish nets, Reports, everything. You go girl...Donna is certainly right..YOU DESERVE YOUR AWARD. Will miss you when you're gone, stay safe and God bless. B and R
