8-19-11 R5AY and Pup
R5AY and Pup
oh my the waistline has grown
pup on the run
okay from a distance this looks like the kid it flipping the flipper
Tough little girl riding on mom's back
diane do you have a picture of their reaction to momma?
No, I wish I did. I never saw two people move so fast! It only took one LOUD bellow and off they went. They were actually a good distance from mom and pup. The fishermen were on the left reef in front of the rock and mom and pup were swimming on the right side of the cove but as soon as R5AY saw them she sailed right over there with pup following close behind and gave them warning. At first, I thought the fishermen might be trying to push the envelope to get a reaction but they came by our station and were really surprised there was a mom with a pup there. I saw them pointing at the picture of the bite victim on our posters. It was good to see how quickly mom took care of the situation.
