1-8-11 Benny @ White Plains
Team Billand handle the crowds at white plains and get some great shots of Benny
Poor Kermit been laying out at this exact location for two weeks. Well, new cabin folks arrived and we knew, Kermit wouldnt remain there any longer. This seal, Kermit, was out there in the rain, flooding, thunder and lightning for many days. In the am check, just as we thought, Kermit was gone. Neighbors told us of the new guys, drinking and yelling most of the night. Officer told us Kermit left about 8pm. Later today, Benny showed up. Again, the cabin good people reported to us, the drinking cabin folks were so loud all day. Playing loud music since yesterday. Well, 4:30pm Benny had had it, he galumped all the way in front of the cabin with the drikers, Party guys. He then growled at them, whoopped them, snorted a spray at them. The folks got even louder. In the end, Base Police arrived, the music lowered, the voices softer, but, STILL PARTYING. I was proud of Benny, sticking up for his space. And he remained in the spot till after 6pm. Base police would monitor area for us during the night. Oh yeah..THANK YOU OFFICERS!!!!! ROb and I did our best to protect the BENNY..he did alright himself!!!! BAH, SNORT!! WHOOP!!! I can not believe these folks, we explained how endangered our seals are and that they need their space and rest on shore. THEY ARE WILLING TO SHARE THE BEACH...HUMANS ARE IDIOTS SOME TIMES!!!!!
