10/8/2010 Irma and Benny
From 11 to 2:51pm we watched the lovely Irma slap Benny with her tail, growled at him, mouthed him. Really a great show for all to see. I think Irma tollerates Benny, but, her heart is Kermits!!
Then we had another call at Iroquios Pt. And yet another call for my daughter to go to Emergency at Queens.

It's funny to see Benny so contrite when your photos have shown that he can be very agressive. Diane G.
ReplyDeleteOn many occasions in our observing of BENNY, he is a holy terror, there is always drama with him. He is a very smart seal, he moves A LOT. Trust me, he is aggressive when another male is present. He has attacked beach goers for getting TOO CLOSE. When he and Irma been together, he is less wild, but persues his girl...for now...IRMA. He is truly an amazing seal...quite a traveler too. AND HE WILL DEFEND HIS GIRL...no matter what. Speaking of the little sucker, wonder where he disappeared to??? One day left for the long weekend...wonder, will this traveling monk, show up with Irma again????? I hope not.
