8/17/2010 Ua Malie on her own.... with Auntie Lesley

   Here are some pics of my afternoon shift (noon to 4PM) with little Ua'Malie. When I arrived at noon she was swimming and playing/eating in the "Mackenzie Pond", then she hauled out for an hour nap.
  She went back into the water, again playing/eating till she chocked on something, hauled out sneezed and cought for a while till something white (like a sand crab) was spit out. She then turn her big belly around and went back to sleep.

    She was such a delight to observe yesterday. Her discovery of herself was just so sweet. She does a lot of eating and playing and we are all so lucky to have this wonderful opportunity to see this creature from the day of her birth to this first day on her own. She is soooo cool.
