    It was super cool watching Rip and Ewa Girl. THey mostly just slept all day. But in the shots where Ewa Girl Is stretching, Rip got slapped by her tail and he was resting on it with his face. Ewa girl swung her tail smacking him and he just reacted with a high body, getting out of her way. I want to comment on the surfers at the surf school..every one of those instructors are really professional, polite, very patient with each person they took out to surf. And they were very respectful of our two seals there, asking questions. For once this observation was fun and very relaxing. I wish I could surf, it looked like FUN!! And I had been checking out the pics to remove the blur shots, when Ewa Girl did a fantastic stretch high in the air before us...I couldnt take the pictures fast enough and I was in zoom mode, so I missed it all, except this one shot of her head on look. She is magnificent, a real strong, royal beauty, that Rip couldnt resist. No fights or mouthing at all, just rest and relaxsation. They remained there on shore even after we left them for another seal call. I wonder if they are resting this long, for a long journey some where...we'll see.

    Thanks Di, I appreciate KIND WORDS. Oh, I just cant get enough of MONK SEALS, ya know. They are such awesome souls and to try to get one clean, shot out of 300 shots...well, IT MAKES ME REALLLLLY HAPPY. And MONK SEALS are fun to take photos of, they have so many positions. Just I aint fast enough to get what I am looking for, but, every now and then...ONE SHOT COMES OUT ok. Thats when I do my happy dance at my desk...Finally I got ONE GOOD Picture. YIPPEEEE!!! Dreams come true, Miracles HAPPEN!! He.HE.
    And those pictures of R5AY and Mailie were beautifully done. I wish Rob and I had the opportunity to have seen those last moments of the two together...nice job Di.
