4/9/2010 DB Dailies

For most of the day I was looking at a few zillion bird.... period, on Rabbit Island. Fortunately, Duke saved the day by hauling out at 1228. He had the place all to himself (except for the few zillion birds , of course)

Posse person, Mark Cunningham called to advise of an animal at Kawela Bay. His description of the critter sure described KC to a tee, however I have no proof of that. Tracy was sending somebody, but I never got any further word.

Tracy did the west side trek today, and found no trace of RI37, however she did find 2AW at Tracks. I called White Plains and the life guards said they had nobody today.

The highlight of the day was the first call from Tracy at 1035 to advise that Rocky had arrived at Larsen's Beach on Kauai yesterday. Her 1520 call was the real zinger . Rocky pupped today !!!!!!

    Knowing Larsen's Beach very well from last year's trek for 3 days makes it a great place for a pup. Congratulations Kauai volunteers and congrats Rocky on your good choice. We will miss you here on Oahu. Colleen, now you know where she is......
